From Frank Family’s estate S&J and Benjamin Vineyards, as well as other acclaimed Napa Valley sites, this wine was aged 20 months in French oak, of which 33% was new French barrels. This blend of 85% Cabernet Sauvignon, 8% Merlot, 4% Petite Verdot, and 3% Cabernet Franc has had some time to evolve in magnum, though it has years to go to unfurl its core of espresso, blackberry, and cedar.
It’s our front-runner Cabernet Sauvignon, brimming with intense fruit and baking spice. The 2014 Napa Cabernet is a big wine and a full-flavored experience that is ready for your glass now or can be cellared for decades to come.
