2011 Rutherford Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon

The relatively cool and wetter than average 2011 growing season gave us a wine that is fresh and soft-structured. Roasted espresso, sage, and dusty earth provide a savory context against which vibrant cranberry and juicy pomegranate play on the palate. Even ten years later, the sophisticated restraint and balance that characterized the 2011 vintage is still present.
